My friend Emma, of Emma Fair came to my home last week and took photos of me, my workspace and my pups (who are also my office assistants). Emma is an amazing photographer, and a gem to be around. She let my personality shine through my portraits and my space and focused on what I wanted my business and brand to look like. She gets people and friendship and laughter and dog-babies.
At one point she said, that she felt like a person's mantle is the cleanest representation of themselves. Everything up there is emotionally or aesthetically important. And, I totally agree. Nixon and Jezebel took a liking to her, too. As usual, Nixon kind of stole the show.
I can't wait to include these photos all over my social media pages. (I've already started sharing a little bit). They're me, the way I want my clients and friends to see me: authentic, fun, creative and laid-back, loving and dedicated. They're beautifully captured and excellently curated. I am planning on printing some of the images of my pups to hang in our home. If you can't tell, I am a huge fan of Emma's work. But, I am also a huge fan of that woman's spirit. She is kind and giving. She has the admirable quality of selflessly helping people through her ability to understand and empathize with them.
Thank you, Emma!
Little Nixon has major jump skills. He is part chihuahua, part shark erupting from from the water haha!
