October was a whirlwind of a month - in ways that are both good and bad. I am happy to be moving into the lull of the wedding off-season. But, I am sad to see so much of the creative frenzy go with it.
I broke my one to two styled shoot per month rule. I don't regret it, but I certainly won't be repeating it for the month of December. (I already broke it for November by having 3...). These shoots are going to turn out so beautifully, I can't wait to see the finished results.
But, October was full of real weddings too. Multiple/weekend. And the diversity of projects was astounding. Fabric installations, framed seating charts and more headed to a Northern Virginia wedding with Luxe and Luna. Printed menu cards with hand-written gold details went to Williamsburg. A cape-henry bride, had gold and navy oyster-shell place cards and menu signage made from pieces of driftwood. Seating charts are always popular during this season. And my month was full of them. Right now, I don't have images for all these wonderful projects, but I will update the post when I do.
The next season
Looking forward, 2017 brides are beginning to think about their invitation suites and I am so excited to begin that work. And, even though we are only in the beginning of November, it has been just as wild and wonderful. And, it will only get better.
You see, I have a little something I have been thinking about giving away.
And, I would love for you to participate. I am searching for an adventurous couple, getting married in 2017 or 2018, who would like a custom Letterlyn invitation suite full of ethereal calligraphy details and illustrations. You only pay printing and shipping. Yep, thats it
All you need to do is send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org describing your story, your style and your wedding date and location. And, you're in. Simple as that!
