There are so many things I love about this romantic, gold styled shoot.
- Location: English Tudor Style Estate in the middle of the beautiful Virginia Countryside? YES! Dover Hall Estate are so inspiring. I pulled so much inspiration from the building's architecture and interiors for the invitation suite.
- Groomsman inspiration: it's not often you get a groomsman-centric styled shoot. We so often focus on the bridesmaids and so it is nice to have something different. And, might I say, my love for bountineers, was well satisfied.
- Whiskey Bar: need I say more?
- The vendors: I am nicknaming this shoot The Tabb High Dream Team Shoot. Why? Because the planner, the photographer and I all went to the same high school! Such a small world! All the vendors in this shoot are amazing! I was so honored to be a part of it. See the links to their sites below.
This shoot was originally published on The Perfect Pallet.
Just look at the shape of the windows. Can you tell they inspired me for the invitation suite? The arch shape shows up inside the estate as well. I wanted the suite to be very representative of the venue. Everything about Dover Hall exudes sophistication and charm. Handmade paper was a must: the texture is so luxurious.
The details of this table are stunning. The warm wood, rich golds and beautiful texture of the foliage that matched the napkin color - these details are amazing. The candles strewn about are add a simple elegance.
This cake is so deceptive: "simple" white frosting. But really, those elegant little details were hand-decorated in buttercream all around the cake. And, with the ranculus on top, I am swooning over here!
